Shreyas Royal and 11-year-old Bodhana Sivanandan make British chess history

Bodhana Sivanandan crowned Britain’s youngest-ever Women’s champion at 11 years old. Records tumbled at the biggest-ever British Chess Championships as the nine-day event in Coventry ended with two record-breaking young superstars of the game winning the two top prizes. Seventeen-year-old Shreyas Royal scooped the overall British title.
