Editorial policy

WR Chess News publishes two kinds of stories.

Official WR Chess reports

Reports on WR Chess events are written or approved by WR Chess. They are labelled "WR Chess" and link to the full story on wr-chess.com.

Summaries of other news

For stories from other outlets, we write short summaries in our own words with the help of AI tools. Each summary names its source and links to the original, which has the full report, photos and quotes. We do not republish full articles.

Accuracy and corrections

Automated summaries can contain mistakes. If you spot one, tell us through the contact page on wr-chess.com and we will correct it.

Sources

Current sources include WR Chess, FIDE, Chess.com, Lichess, Chessdom and Susan Polgar's blog.
